I often think about this, when the Colosseum was built there were no lines, it was free and a lot more entertaining. Times have changed and lines are normal now but that’s where I step in, Angel Cultural Historians walk in with you, pass the security line which now can take some of your precious time but we stay together as a group of course, then we will take you on a walk up the Palatine Hill, then through the Roman Forum, the heart of the Ancient City of Romulus and Remus and the Roman Empire.

From its mythical beginnings to the rise of Christianity, bringing to life the numerous ruins of over 2600 years of history, we will explore the politics, religions and myths of this great civilization leading into the most famous of the city’s monuments. My Guides really love this tour so please only interrupt them with a genuine question, a triple distilled Irish Whiskey or a smile of appreciation. From my years in Rome, this walk through the ancient city is wasted if you don’t find a real person of character who not only read the History but eats it in their dreams, we are so lucky to have any of piece of the Roman temples left but yet we have so much. If you practice sanity at all, take my longtime advice and explore this place with my Historian.
