Guys you will love this tour, I love it which means that you will love it for sure. From April 21 to October 27 the Vatican Museums will open its doors every Friday evening

It’s at night so you can’t imagine the benefits. Going at night is still new so it’s not crowded and I love the Vatican Museums when they are more or less empty.

I encourage you to plan your days in Rome in a way in which you can join our Vatican by Night Tour of the Museums and St. Peters Square which is only on FRIDAYS at 7:15 p.m., at the beginning we will talk about St. Peter’s Basilica and Square which is amazing, then walk to the museums entrance and I will entertain and guide you through the best of the Vatican Museums just like during the day tour. The Sistine Chapel will be illuminated like at daytime, too.

St. Peter’s Basilica is closed that time of the day but it is amazing so make sure you visit it on your own the next day or just before.

We do explain the basilica from the outside but encourage you to visit the basilica on your own before our tour or just the next day (the entrance is entirely free), the usual opening hours are
(November – March)
Mon – Sun, 7 am – 6.30 pm;
(April – October)
Mon – Sun, 7 am – 7 pm

best times to visit are early in the morning and late in the afternoon.
Combine it with a climb of the cupola of St. Peter’s Basilica, the view is worth the exercise!

Make it a full day
If you want to make a day of it you can start early in the day with the Colosseum and Ancient Rome district, at
8.30 a.m., have lunch, then get onto our Golf Cart driving tour at 2.30 p.m., have a quick break and then meet me at the Vatican at 7.15 p.m.

The tours lasts around 3 hours and we finish inside the Sistine Chapel. The metro operates until 1.30am that night and you can also catch a taxi from the museums’ exit or St Peter’s square back to your hotel.
